Thanks George- I'm sure that's good advice. After the initial flights (which had an even more pronounced initial burst) I did change to a longer motor yesterday, and the flight pattern improved to what you see here. So a still longer or thinner one makes sense. As most of my other aircraft are scale ones, I'm not really used to flying such (comparitively) light models, so all advice is very welcome. In fact I get quite a kick out of only needing one loop and being able to wind beyond a thousand without even gritting my teeth!
