Re: Californian
It was good to see this little beauty in the flesh yesterday, Tim. I know the flight trimming didn't go all that well but this model, and your impressively short build time, has opened up a whole host of possibilities for me. I don't think I'm ready to go all foam yet, but I am now tempted to maybe ...

Re: 36" Slingsby Prefect
Very nice! 20.8g sounds like an absolute feather for 36" span. You'll be in danger of losing it at that weight.
(Btw, have you started that tank glider yet?)

Re: Went flying...
Great stuff, Roman. That SE5 always looks the business in the air, and so does your Albatros. Well done on getting the cloudy sky shot too- bet you had to be quick to get it! Here of course we sometimes get wind, clouds and even, dare I say it, RAIN all at the same time. Can you imagine such a thing...

Re: Californian
Highly impressive work, Tim, and an ambitious choice. I doubt that one's ever been peanutted before. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh, so hope you bring it to Clayton even if it's not quite finished (not that I doubt it will be! :D ) I've nothing new for the January meeting at all, but will be...

That's excellent news! Thanks, Bernard. Really hope to be there.

Looking at all the photos of everyone's models when you miss it does create a certain ....urge
Sounds like a plan! (and can everyone else please just stop going on the years we miss. )

Re: Event announcement: International Indoor Fly In 2016
Great photos, Andrea. LOVE those arty trophies by Larissa Bruin. There is real style to these Nijmegen contests! George, great photos and info too; thanks very much, and really looking forward to the rest! I for one hope that Robert Pajas sticks with CO2 power as, for me anyway, it is part of what m...

Re: 'Boxy Lady' Bostonian
Thanks George- I'm sure that's good advice. After the initial flights (which had an even more pronounced initial burst) I did change to a longer motor yesterday, and the flight pattern improved to what you see here. So a still longer or thinner one makes sense. As most of my other aircraft are scale...
