Went indoor flying...

I had the opportunity to test fly my new Legal Eagle model "Chad" on Thursday evening at our club meeting at Buxton Community Church. It is quite small so I can't fly peanut models there but there is plenty of room for lighter things. I am pleased to say that it trimmed really easily. No n...

Re: On the workbench right now...

That is a very nice looking 190 Roger. I like the wood cowling instead of the plastic Guillows one, they let down Guillows kits IMO. Yours looks very good. Test flight soon Ludo? Let us know how she goes. I have got a little further with the Pistachio WACO SRE. Covering and shrinking/ banana oil is ...

Re: Building from 3 View Plans

Thanks for the link Rick.

That's a lovely looking glider; gull wing gliders look very classy. I always wanted to build the Keilkraft Minimoa when I was a kid but I thought it would be beyond my skills.

Re: On the workbench right now...

I have also been working on a replacement for my pistachio "Screamin Meany". It has been damaged and glued back together too many times. I also wanted to try making a pistachio which might be a little more competitive. The "screamin Meany" was frustrating as it got such low stati...

Re: On the workbench right now...

Strictly speaking this is just OFF the workbench as I have finished it! I needed a new legal eagle for competitions at Clayton Green so I have built this "Chad". Nothing particularly special to say about it. It's nice to have actually finished something!

Re: Rake Mini Madcap

That looks nice Scrubs, and a nice manageable size too. I have a full size Madcap in my workshop which was a gift from my fellow club members to try to encourage me into some easy RC flying. It's huge! (Well it is for me, I'm more used to peanuts). A nice stable flyer though.

Re: On the workbench right now...

Very nice uhu; a sheeted fuse does look nice if it is done well and this looks great. What scheme are you going to do it in?
