Re: Welcome to the new Forum!
Hi Dave, I should post a background to how this came about? Once I had reconstructed the website as best as I could and recreated the forum, I joined a few forums in preparation to let people know it was back. The username 'Small Flying Arts' raised happy eyebrows and I was contacted by some very he...

Re: Aerowerkes
Do you offer a custom cutting service for planes not listed if the cutting file was done by me?
A wingspan next to each model on the kit page would help making a choice easier, I think?

Re: Forum rebuild progress
Finally finished tweaking everything I could find to get the Archive stable and complete this morning.
It is now running on the latest version of YaBB and ready for conversion to phpBB.

Re: Welcome to the new Forum!
Hi Ludo, now that I am confident I can merge the old YaBB forums into this phpBB format, it should be fine to let others know SFA is active again. At first I wasn't sure if it could be done in full so didn't want to lose yet another group of posts that would have been started here but I have been wo...

Re: micro rc cookup
It's funny Uhu. I wanted to make an R/C peanut eindecker in stick and tissue and is why I came looking for tips on SFA. That's when I found the forum had gone sideways. Having built one half of the wing so far, I have since then been working on this site! :D This might be the ticket to get me to con...

Re: Welcome to the new Forum!
I have a jet kit and some Rapier motors still wrapped in the original plastic that I would love to get going. Once the supply of motors stopped so did my interest. Is there anyone else making motors that you know of? Gwyl I'm looking forward to making my first rapier jet once I get things to where ...

Forum Archive rebuild progress
Hi guys, This topic is just to keep all of you in the loop as to what is being done behind the scenes with the Forum and the progress we are making. I have successfully merged the 3 restarts of the YaBB forum from 2003 to 2008. 8-) I then worked on a conversion script to change the YaBB2 forum into ...

Post to your hearts content!
The rebuild of the Archives Forum continues. The 3 old forums from 2003 to 2006, 2006 - 2007, and finally 2007 -2008 before it ended have been combined. It is fully functional for browsing but lots of images are missing and I am working on trying to get them back at the moment. If I can get hold of ...
