Re: Herr Pitts Special
I haven't commented on anything for a while which I should have done as there are some lovely models being built. Agree with Jim on this one Monz; superb! You have a lot of patience with jobs that are fiddly and tedious but the results are well worth it. Really looking forward to seeing this flying,...

Re: Bellanca K "Roma"
Very impressive George. I'm sure you must be pleased with that as a start to trimming. I'm interested to know what your plans are for version #2. Are you ready to start it straight away or will you do a lot more trimming first? Have you already got a list of changes for #2 based on the building of t...

Re: Herr Pitts Special
Really good and really fast as usual Monz. Mark Brill was trimming one of these at Clayton Green last Sat and it was starting to go well.
Here are a couple of pics of it.

Re: Californian
I really should finish this build log off with a proper flight report as it's nearly a week since the meet at Clayton Green. Truth is, it didn't fly at all. Pete is kind by describing it as "not going all that well". It was a complete failure. And the worst bit is that I have no idea what,...

Re: Bellanca K "Roma"
Really good George. The silver on the wings looks much better now.
Are the flags all one decal or two? I would imagine that they would be difficult to move around once on at that size so did you have to get them accurately positioned as they went on?

Re: Californian
A brief report before I go to Clayton Green in the morning. The Californian is almost finished, just some detailing to do. I'm happy with some of it, unhappy with some of it and really annoyed about the rest! The biggest mess up is with the Reg and racing No's which are red. I don't think decals wil...

Re: Californian
Been too busy to post anything the last couple of days. This is where I am up to. Main airframe complete and ready for paint. Parts started for the dummy engine. Prop and noseblock complete. Wheels made. Canopy plug carved and ready to plunge a canopy. Spraying the main colour today and hopefully No...

Re: Californian
Some pics of the panel line effect on the flying surfaces. I have only done the wing upper surfaces.
