Welcome to the new Forum!

Postby Site Admin (Dave) » Sat Jun 18, 2016 12:50 am

Welcome to all who are visiting here and to those who were a member of the old SFA Forum.

I am the new forum and site Webmaster and Administrator, David.
The Forum is now running via PhPBB3. Unfortunately, the old YaBB Forum cannot be converted to this structure so we will have to start fresh. Don't worry - I am currently rebuilding the old forum as an archive and hope to link each section to the current Forum as I make progress.

If you have saved anything from the past and see it is not here and would like to share it, please send it to me via email and I will get it on the site.
I am looking forward to rebuilding the Small Flying Arts Community and hope you join me and the other members heading into the future.

Here's links to a site where they copied over the New Millennium Sleek Streek build article that originally appeared on the SFA. There's 3 pages in all.

I'll check my home computer to see if I have any saved.

Good stuff Bargle. :)

I still have to reconstruct the articles section. I got sidetracked with the new free plans section I am building.

Thank you very much for bringing SFA back.
You begin flying with a full bag of luck and an empty bag for experience. The object is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Thanks for resurrecting an old favorite, in the spirit of Bhagat's vision.

I have some plans that I "think" came from the old SFA; they are Tony Holicek designs. I lost track of Tony, so I am unable to check with him, regarding permission(s) to upload, but here is what I have:
Aeronca Champ
Korda Victory (small version)
Wittman Big X
Boston Robin
Heston Phoenix

Let me know if these can/should be used...

Also, I noticed that the Greg Thomas Monocoupe 110 Special plan would not open--something about it being damaged file. I have that plan, as well. Just let me know what you need.

Well, that is an interesting development... A pleasant surprise...
Everything at zero at the moment, but it can pick up.

Excellent news! Well done, David and anyone else concerned. If you can get even a fraction of the old archive back too then that will be a massive achievement.
(Hi George and Tim- looking forward to seeing your latest projects on here again.)
