Thanks George and all for the report ... looked like a great event. :)

Standards are so high now I feel that I am starting from the beginning again :)

Happy New Year everybody!

After a few weeks of posting absence, I hope I can manage to catch up a little...

Russ, I am glad you enjoyed the photos. They are supposed to serve both as a report and as an insiration for participating in future events. As for the standards, they are not as high as you think, or not too far for you to reach. You have the skills and you have shown them. You only need spare time and determination to finish in time. Looking forward to seing your work again...

The expected videos are still waiting to be uploaded, hopefully before the next event :D
I did manage to upload one, however:

Pete, enjoy...

There were not that many, after all. Most of my time was spent trimming and flying. I did watch plenty of the flying, but not with a camera in hand.

I have uploaded some more, which can be found here:

My phone camera proved barely enough for the task, quality could have been better. I hope next year goes better.

Regarding video files...
I''m still having "save" issues with my confuser. The Tekkie was able to get most of the related problems alleviated, but a complete fix would have surpassed the cost of a new machine - which I presently cannot afford. I plan to try doing the video work on my buddy's machine to get them uploaded ASAP.

Good videos indeed. Nice that you George got the DH on video, too. Must have been its best flight at this meeting, but will have to tweak it a little bit still ;-)
Happy new year everybody!

Hi Tommy,

you are quite right... It was the best flight, the one I timed and filmed... There is always room for improvement, even 1-2 seconds, for personal satisfaction. But you had a great flyer and a very unusual model anyway...
