From what I understand it may take quite a lot of time before all or most images are recovered. A 60% job now might be better that a 90% job a few months later...

Can we have an update on the status of the rebuild?

Would be interested to know if the disk and thumb drive previously submitted contained anything of use

Hi guys,
I'll get the Archive I have rebuilt so far available for you all this week.
I've been busy working outdoors this year so I've had little time in front of the computer. Gotta keep paying the bills. ;)
Jim, the drive did arrive and indeed there were some models I did not know were on the site. I'll be adding them when I find time this week. Many thanks for sending it over to me.
To those who have made a donation to help pay the site bills - I thank you kindly.

Hi all,

nearly 3 months have passed since we last talked about the archives, still no progress and unfortunately not even a reply.

It has also been almost a month since the site admin was active in the forum (27 April).

Is there something we should worry about?

Dave has been real busy with real life lately, plus his children have been using up his bandwidth. He is also trying to connect with the old site to retrieve whatever is left.

I have a link to the archive up thru 5 June 2008, but I'm not sure whether it auto-updates as Dave adds new data (generally photo files). I'm not sure if it would be any better than what is already there...
