Re: Welcome to the new Forum!
Thank you from me also. Had a minor glitch getting back on, but all good now.

I have a jet kit and some Rapier motors still wrapped in the original plastic that I would love to get going. Once the supply of motors stopped so did my interest. Is there anyone else making motors that you know of?

I'm looking forward to making my first rapier jet once I get things to where I want them here. I've been in contact with Roger over at jetex.org and he sent me some home made pellet info etc to get me going.GRB wrote:I have a jet kit and some Rapier motors still wrapped in the original plastic that I would love to get going. Hi, David,Site Admin wrote:I'm hoping the content from the active YaBB forum can all be added to this forum as old posts.
I have resurrected the Archives Forum but unfortunately ALL image attachments are gone.
It also looks like the latest YaBB forum that was being used may not have been saved anywhere either. I am investigating this at the moment.
I've got about 150 thread and article pages with images saved on my computer. Some, not many, are from the archives. If there's any way I can help get these images back on the site, please let me know.

Hi Ludo,
now that I am confident I can merge the old YaBB forums into this phpBB format, it should be fine to let others know SFA is active again.
At first I wasn't sure if it could be done in full so didn't want to lose yet another group of posts that would have been started here but I have been working madly in the background and great archive rebuild progress is being made.
A mass email will be sent when things are close to completion and hopefully most of those email accounts will still be working for our original SFA members.
I haven't ignored Bargle. I have contacted him via email and he most certainly has a treasure trove of stuff he has been sending through. Well done Bargle!

This is great news David: many thanks for getting SFA up and running again!
Good to see some of the usual F/F scale suspects posting already. Seems large and light is the in thing for indoor scale. Kitscale could be interesting at next years Nats: Richard C, Mike S and yours truly are doing the Comet Taylorcraft, Aeronca K and Aeronca Chief. Might need a few more judging tables, as they're all 54" span.....
